skydrive.live.com

So... I would have never found this if my external hard drive did not break down. I wanted to find an online back up... for free. Of course, I'd do things that are free or close to free. From what I discovered, a good lot give out 2 GB for free and anything after that gets charged. However, I found a really good storage space/back up but it only holds up to 25GB.

Personal Experience:
So, from my Hotmail account, I uploaded a few gigs that I thought were very important, such as my school files or family photos. It was a lot easier to upload than I thought. I very impressed with the programming on it. I didn't have to uploaded it one by one, but drag and drop the files and wait a bit. You can even set it some folders to be personal or public. So if you ever decide to share some files with friends, you can. I haven't played with that option yet though. Apparently the storage space was originally 5GB but they upped it to 25GB. The great thing is that you can create your documents in it too. You can make a Microsoft word, PowerPoint, or excel file on it. So technically, people don't need to buy Microsoft office anymore. This option is best for net-books where it does not have enough memory or RAM to run the Microsoft word.

Basically, Sky Drive is like having your entire hard drive along with Microsoft office... online. You can technically do everything on the phone and never own a desktop computer, laptop, or a net-book. In the end... Sky Drive is awesome.

Similar Experience:
Back in college, I remember something similar to the Sky Drive online. It was Google word doc, which if you give out the password for that document, anybody in your group project can edit the document. It was great for project members to write and revise the word document. But I don't recall seeing anything like a memory storage space though.
It is very similar to each other. Since I did not do any big research on Google docs, I really don't know much about it besides creating different documents. I don't know if it is any better than Sky Drive. But the point of this blog was just to say I found a great online storage for free and not to find and online document maker.

Chase Freedom Credit Card

Just to let you know, I am not paid to sponsor anything. I would let you know if I am. I just really really really like certain programs. Does blogging generally not have indents? I'm trying to make a paragraph indent and there's no button for it. I'll just keep pressing space at the beginning of every paragraph then... Today, I am promoting Chase Freedom Card. This is the exact design I got for the card.

About the program:
Always make sure you read about the terms and condition before you sign up for ANYTHING. From when I signed up, which is about a month ago, you basically apply for the credit card. If you get approved, you get $200 worth in points, which you can cash out or use the points to purchase things from their rewards program. These points are only for members who have not previously had a Chase credit card before. So the point of the program is to get new applicants. However, you don't get the check immediately. You have to use the card at least once, then after a month, when you get your statement, is when the points get counted for. So I waited a month, then went to the rewards website, and had them send me a check. I had to edit the picture a bit so... you don't steal my moneyz. I usually use photoshop but I didn't get a chance to install it to my new computer. So I used HP photo which was pretty easy but didn't gimmie the beauty the photoshop would have.

I think the interest was 19.24% and if you're late on your payment, it may increase up to 29.99%. Just make sure you pay out your balance on time, every month, and you would never have to worry about the interest. Now there's 0% interest for the first year. So if you spend a lot, make sure you get it paid off before the year. There's also points build up for what you spend. For example, you get 5x the point if you buy groceries for the month of May. I don't pay attention to the point system, mainly because I signed up for no interest and the $200 check.

Additional Comments:
So far, I have no complaints about the card I'm using. Of course, shortly after, I get letters about opening a bank account with chase and get $150 for it. I also noticed they've sent me the same letter about opening another freedom card but instead of $200, they have downed it to $150. But since I'm not a new member anymore, that offer does not apply to me and I really have no need for another bank account.  The bank account is not for me but may be for you. I bet after a couple more months, the offer will go down to $100 and eventually $50.

Introduction - Just Saying Hi

TESTING 1 2 3:
Testing my blog. Checking out what the templates and stuff I can do to the blog. Basically working out the buttons and figuring out how this works. As far as I can tell, this is working like a word document.

Comments:

I always wanted to do some type of blog. Not like a journal though. No one really want to hear another person's life cause it's extremely boring. I want to talk about my interests and stuff but it seems like everyone's doing that. They're also doing it a lot better than I am. I'm not hard core mad or obsessed enough about a certain subject. Sometimes I'm also behind in the fads. So I had to figure out what I do best. I am very good at being frugal. So I guess the blog is gonna head into a financial direction. Maybe I'll talk about a certain deal I really like, ways to save more money, do activities that are free and nearly free. Just note, I am not a financial advisor. I'm just a very very cheap person. Now that may seem like a negative perception of me, but we like to think of us as smart shoppers. As a young adult, I'm not going be highlighting boring stuff like "Buy 2 get 1 free on groceries from walmart" or something. It's probably gonna be leaning more on "FREE SHOTS EVERY HOUR ON THE HOUR FOR LADIES AT ALOHA KITCHEN ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!". I'm not sure. I shall give this blog life and see where it goes. This first blog is a tester for what I can do. What I put down on my future blogs is what I see. You are free to comment whether you agree or disagree. If I put down something that seems a little off, like I did not read the fine lines of a contract or something, you're free to comment on that and correct me. I'm human, not everything I say I correct. I like to think that way though.
